Is it whole?
"... if anyone is afraid of God, and doeth his will, he heareth
" (John 9:31).
In an apparent effort to promote the expansion of
Gospel message, someone in a major city
decided to use a spray paint for
message "Believe in Jesus" on the highways, waterways and even the postal boxes in
downtown area of \u200b\u200bthe city. This does not
was "evangelism" but "vandalism." The right message
not justify using wrong means.
As we are working for our God.
lnos Lord commanded to preach his word in every part, even the most remote
the world, and follow His commandments
, we also follow his teachings as to how to behave
front of the society in which we live
.
Can we say that "anything goes" when the objective is to speak
of Jesus? Do we have the right to act contrary to
that taught by Christ himself? In the end, if we are "light
the world" and our brightness needs to be noticed by everyone, how to practice
attitudes
ashamed and sadden Lord of lords?
Today, on television and radio stations, see and hear of
everything about Jesus, unless He is Lord and Savior
and that those who follow him must live in
Spirit and in truth. The "anything goes" is fully open
! The main objective is not "who believe will
saved" but who believe it will be rich, have estates
imported cars, accumulated wealth in banks,
lights placed on their faces as "men and women of success."
Here in the city where I dwell,
meetings are very similar - gold pens, gold key, golden rain
powder ... Less Jesus! Last week, I received in my mailbox a flyer inviting
a week of blessings in
a particular church. They said, "on Monday - How to get rich is
in a few months. Tuesday - How to pay your debts quickly
. On Wednesday - As
buy your new car and beach house. On Thursday ... "and so forth
! There was one day even the
blessing was to receive Jesus in your heart, have peace and abundant life
be happy forever.
As a city mess biblical messages does
part of biblical teaching to the son of God, also
diversion is not part of the message contained in the Scriptures
. In the former case, the message was correct and how
not. In the examples current
everything is wrong.
In the Christian life, we can not think "anything goes."
What matters is to obey the Lord and produce results which
glorify His name. Case
